Domestic Market

An extensive customer network of over 350 top-quality, distributors and retailers, assuring the best possible distribution for each of our brands. We offer multiple distribution options per market, ensuring a strong match for each brand and avoiding competitive issues within the distributor’s portfolio. We have dedicated portfolio managers at many of our distribution partners.

E-Commerce

We work with local platforms, as well as e-commerce giants such as Amazon, Mercado Libre and Rappi to assure product availability through targeted marketing initiatives.

Duty Free & Travel Retail

Includes cruise-ships (retail and on-trade), airport stores, border stores, free-trade zones, military, diplomatic services, seaport stores, airlines and cargo/commercial vessels. We service all the relevant operators in these channels, either directly or in co-operation with specialized local operators.

Cruise Ship Services

We have direct relationships with all cruise-lines’ beverage teams, presenting our portfolio and programming on board. Once awarded and listed onboard the cruise lines, we ensure sufficient inventory and unbroken supply from our Miami freezone warehouse. We work with all relevant ship chandlers, being our logistics partners to the cruise ports throughout the USA, the Caribbean and Latin America.


Regional Management

  • Management of all aspects of the day-to-day business with our distribution network and local trade.
  • Select, develop and maintain top level regional distribution network on a market-by-market and/or channel basis.
  • Close contact with our distribution partners and frequent market visits - distributor meetings as well as local on – off trade accounts.
  • Direct contact with key accounts in the markets.
  • Driving sales in the markets, being in the trade, presenting our portfolio.
  • Making sure local brand plans are in place and executed accordingly.
  • Secure brand (price) positioning in the markets.
  • Analyzing competitive set in the markets and recognize and materialize local opportunities.
  • Transfer of Best Practices throughout the region; sales force and trade education, trainings and master classes.
  • Participation & attendance of local and regional trade shows.

Marketing

  • Defining the marketing strategy with our brand partners.
  • Development and execution of strategic regional marketing plans, including regional pricing strategy by channel / market.
  • Fully integrated brand building through “glocalized” marketing driven exercises based on both global brand strategy as well as local insights.
  • Execution of regional marketing activations, including social media, newsletters, educational initiatives, activations, tradeshows, editorial content and press releases.
  • Monitoring of brand image and price positioning.
  • Management of Advertising & Promotion budgets and POSM.
  • Close contact with Mixology / on-trade scene in our region.
  • Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including sales, depletions and A&P expenses.
  • MONARQ has a fast-growing audience of over 37K followers on Instagram alone, ensuring instant reach for our brand partners.

Marketing

Finance & Administration

Our Finance & Administration Department coordinates all financial & administrative services from our Headquarters in The Netherlands

  • Financial one-stop without credit exposure for the supplier.
  • Day-to-day contact with accounting department of brand-owners.
  • Periodic account statements.
  • Timely payment of any outstandings.
  • Collection of A/R’s.
  • MONARQ has an outstanding credit rating with both financial institutions and insurance companies.

CUSTOMER SERVICE, ORDER PROCESSING & WAREHOUSING

All orders are processed by our full-service multilingual Customer Support Department, based in our Headquarters in The Netherlands. Our experienced team consists of people who speak fluent English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch.

  • Professional, pro-active and efficient processing of orders – either from source or our Miami freezone inventory.
  • Designated Customer Service contact per region: Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, South America and Duty Free.
  • Logistics services, including freight and insurance.
  • Know-how of required transport documentation.
  • Pragmatic troubleshooting in case of logistic hiccups.
  • Warehousing in Miami freezone.

COMPLIANCE

  • Advise on any regulatory subjects in the region.
  • In-depth knowledge and full-service management of Sanitary Registrations.
  • Ensuring packaging (labels) is compliant with local legislation.
  • Assistance with any legal or compliance issues, including trademark filings and contact with local institutions and law firms.
