International Spirits Challenge 2020 Results

We are proud to share the results of the MONARQ brands in the International Spirits Challenge 2020.

The International Spirits Challenge is one of the World’s Top Spirits Competitions. The competition is founded on a rigorous and independent judging process for high caliber spirits and designs. Winning an ISC award is an impressive achievement for any spirit that passes the scrupulous blind assessment from the experienced panel of specialist judges.

For that reason, we are happy to announce that this year our brands received 40 medals (12 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze) in 7 categories; including Pre-Mixed Drinks, Japanese Whisky, Scotch Whisky, Gin, Liqueurs & Specialities, Vodka, and American Whiskey.

The leading categories for our brands were Pre-Mixed Drinks and Japanese Whisky with 10 medals respectively. For Pre-Mixed Drinks, gold was awarded to Opihr Gin, while Bloom Gin and Greenall's Gin received silver and bronze in different sub-categories.

Alternatively, Matsui Shuzo won an impressive number of 14 medals. This contributed to make the Japanese Whisky one of the leading categories for our brands with 10 medals in total. The Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky and The San-In were awarded gold, while The Matsui Single Malt Whisky and The Tottori Blended Japanese Whisky were awarded silver in different sub-categories.

Other important categories were Scotch Whisky in which Compass Compass Box Whisky was awarded gold for Hedonism, Rogues' Banquet, The Peat Monster and The Spice Tree. Liqueurs & Specialities, in which the gold was assigned to Bols Crème de Cassis. And finally, American Whiskey, where Old Forester crowned another gold medal.
